  • Abstract
    Coupled magneto-dielectric image guides have been analyzed by the effective dielectric and permeability method. The external magnetic field was applied normal to the direction of propagation and the ground plane. A closed form dispersion relationship has been derived for the coupled structure. Complex propagation constants of the guided structure were calculated as a function of frequency and external magnetic field. The authors have investigated the even and odd modes of propagation in the vicinity of ferromagnetic resonance frequencies
