Abstract :
There are three fundamental problems that are frequently faced in the development of test systems for aging military assets: 1) aging systems require the development of new support equipment due to either the age of the system or the age of the extant support equipment, 2) new test requirements, unforeseen at the beginning of a system´s life-cycle needs to be identified, and 3) test methodologies are developed over the life cycle of a system that drives testing to be performed in a new and better way.
