Abstract :
In this article, the various possible structures of a dual mechanical port (DMP) electric machine are explored and operation features discussed. Further, dynamic modeling of the DMP electric machine is presented. In particular, the salient features and suitability of DMP machine to hybrid electrical vehicles (HEVs) are discussed.
