Abstract :
The electron beam pumped xenon excimer laser presents many problems to the experimental physicist, not the least of these is gas purity and extreme care is usually required with the vacuum/pressure system. A brief description is given of a moderately large xenon laser which uses a novel gas purification scheme. Results are presented which indicate improved performance and reliability.
