Abstract :
It is not the electrons with energy higher than the cutoff voltage that contribute to the anode currents. On the contrary, it is only those electrons which lose their energy by electron-electron interaction and are not so effectively bent by the magnetic field that can reach the anode. The presence of Larmor frequency, entirely independent of secondary emission, cannot be used as a basis for denying the process of cyclic multiplication of electrons as an important feature of magnetron operation.
