Abstract :
This communication presents a new approach to measurement of the figure-of-merit for strongly electronegative gases and gas mixtures. Compared with Pedersen´s method, which needs very high precision measurements, the present method can be used in most laboratories. The difference between our results and those obtained by Pedersen et al. is not more than 3%, which is acceptable for engineering application research work.
