Abstract :
Taken together, there is a certain "odd couple" relationship that exists between these two texts. O\´Donovan\´s book strongly promotes the GPSS modeling language originally developed by our second author, Geoffrey Gordon. But Gordon\´s book, while it does discuss his own language, appears to be advancing the merits of a competitive language.
