Abstract :
COSY Julich, presently in the commissioning phase, accelerates/stores protons in the medium energy range (40 MeV÷2.5 GeV). The non-beam disturbing diagnostic methods and devices are important tools to optimise the closed orbit, as well as to measure the position and the dynamic behaviour of the beam for alignment and subsequent regular operation. The paper describes the beam position monitor electronics. The monitor is of particular importance among the applied beam diagnostic devices
