Abstract :
A graded-composition Se-As-Te chalcogenide-glass photo-diode has been used as a photoconductive pickup tube target. The photoelectric properties of the target depend on concentration and distribution of elements. In this letter we show the result of investigation about concentration distribution of As and Te. A signal current variation of improved target can be made small, when it operates for a long time under illumination of red light.
