Abstract :
A new fast method describing the time-domain propagation of optical fields in adiabatic guiding structures and including high-order dispersion effects is developed. This method is demonstrated by the propagation of a short optical pulse in a directional coupler and is shown to be in full agreement with analytical results.<>
