Abstract :
A high-repeatability and wide-band channel tuning system has been developed for a 30-GHz band high-power klystron. The cavity tuner is of the choke-type and operates stably over a 1.5-GHz frequency range. To obtain satisfactory channel tuning repeatability, a feedback loop was devised in order to compensate for pulse motor rotation.
