Author and Educator: Shah follows her passion [Women to Watch]

Seema Shah is the (acting) principal at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. She is also the dean of student affairs and an assistant professor in the Department of Information Technology at the institute. During an illustrious career spanning over 26 years, she has held senior teaching positions and has industrial experience as senior faculty at Patni Computer Systems. She has guided many projects at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels at a number of reputed institutes such as Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Don Bosco Institute of Technology, and Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Womens University. Her subject expertise lies in grid computing, advanced operating systems, computer organization, data warehousing, distributed computing, and software testing, among others. Additionally, she has also conducted sessions on teaching methodology, microteaching, professional excellence, and interpersonal skills.
