Abstract :
Electronics is the branch of physics and technology concerning the behavior and movement of electrons in solids, fluids, and in a vacuum; it also deals with tubes, solid-state components, and integrated ?circuits, which work according to electron motions. It was the discovery of the electron that opened the way to this sector of science and technology, which has so deeply influenced our lives throughout all of the last century and still does in the present one, and to which this magazine is devoted. And that discovery also brought much glory to the men who were able to catch it.
