  • Abstract
When design data is shared by several applications, any changes are simultaneously reflected in electrical, thermal, and other simulations. Design experts developed a system that concurrently analyzes physical effects of complex designs. It employs an integrated, interactive tool set that manages interdependent functions, thereby raising productivity and product quality to new heights. The authors briefly discuss the work done at Bell Northern Research and describe the features of UniSolve, a concurrent environment that analyzes the physical characteristics affecting circuit performance.<>
