Abstract :
The control of the spectrum of an ultrabroadband pulse generated by a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is important for various applications including coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering spectroscopy. In this study, the spectral peaks due to fundamental soliton pulses near 1000 nm from a PCF have been measured for various input pulse chirps applied by changing the position of one of the prisms in a prism pair. The measured spectra have been compared with calculated spectra and the excellent agreement between the measured and the calculated spectra was observed.
