Abstract
This paper discusses a new record set by French National Railways and Alstom for V150 trainset with steel wheels running on steel rails. Top speed is 357 mph, surpassing the original goal of 335 mph. This also discusses the extension of the existing Maglev train line in Shanghai, the expansion of Dublin trams and Dallas area rapid transit.
