Abstract :
A novel and efficient burst mode transmission method is presented. M-ary PSK bursts were transmitted through an underwater acoustic channel exhibiting long time spread multipath behaviour, and a DPSK detector was used at the receiver. The phase constellation plots obtained show that up to eight phases can be resolved without evidence of errors in the received data
