Abstract :
The authors demonstrate wavelength conversion from a 20 nm band near 1.5-1.3 μm at 5 Gbit/s using a novel nonlinear optical loop mirror that compensates for pulse walk-off. The bit error rate performance of the device at 2.5 Gbit/s is also reported
