Abstract :
Whispering-gallery modes in axially magnetized ferrite disk samples have been studied using rigorous Rayleigh-Ritz and finite-element analyses. The influence of radial magnetization on the resonant frequencies of both WGE and WGH modes was investigated, both theoretically and experimentally. Permeability tensor components of biased ferrites were determined from measurements of the resonant frequencies of the WGHn00 and the WGEn00 mode families
