Abstract :
The concepts of the cyclic square and complete set of cyclic squares are introduced. From them a class of majority-logic decodable (MLD) error-correcting codes is constructed and compared with existing codes having the same parameters. Codes based on cyclic squares are simpler to construct and decode.
