Abstract
It is shown that the results in Rahuramireddy and Unbehauen (1991) are not necessarily valid for a separable-in-denominator 2D digital filter with complex poles in both z1 and z2 independent variables. Modified equations, as well as relevant results on quantization errors evaluations are provided
