Abstract :
Provides a brief introduction to the special issue on applications of ferroelectrics in microwave technology. Topics covered include work on tunable filters, tunable matching networks for cellular amplifiers, phase shifters, and voltage-controlled oscillators. There are also papers discussing the modeling and characterization of losses and nonlinearities in these devices.
