Abstract :
All existing uniform filter banks have integer decimation or interpolation rates. The article presents a novel polyphase-matrix-FFT structure that is capable of a rational conversion rate. This structure can combine sampling rate conversion and demultiplexing in multicarrier demodulators leading to a significant reduction in computation rates, especially for clock-synchronous systems.
