Abstract :
An algebraic method is outlined to force the European Space Agency (ESA) telecommand (TC) authentication system, and we investigate more robust algorithms, by testing different operational modes of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), in conjunction with error correction strategies, already included in space recommendations.
