Abstract :
We have observed far infrared output at 447, 698, 1306, and 1669 μm in ethyl chloride using a metallic-waveguide laser and a CO2pump laser. The measurements were made with a metal-mesh Fabry-Perot interferometer and, together with the pump assignments, they are in disagreement with previously published values.
