Abstract :
The implementation procedure for a new stability test for two-dimensional (2-D) digital filters, recently reported, has been extended to the n-D case. The procedure dwells on the generation of a sequence of polynomials in an increasing number (up to n - 1) of real variables, which need be tested for local positivity. Corresponding multidimensional continuous filter results can be routinely developed.
