  • Abstract
It is shown that the choice of a chirp waveform is a poor one for testing most algorithms which compute the discrete Fourier transform. The Winograd-Fourier transform algorithm is especially susceptible to program bugs which will not be detected by computing the transform of a chirp sequence.
