Abstract :
A new analysis of an N-section polarizer composed of periodic arrays of wires is presented. The exact full-wave theory based on the mode-matching method is applied to analyze the structures. The validity and accuracy of the approach are verified by comparing the results with those obtained from an equivalent circuit model based on the transmission line theory and the authors´ measurement of a manufactured prototype.
