            Abstract : 
Polarisation-independent 100 Gbit/s demultiplexing is demonstrated for the first time with a nonlinear optical loop mirror using a polarisation diversity scheme. Error free operation is confirmed with a 0.6 dB variation in received optical power as the input signal polarisation direction is varied by 90
