  • Abstract
    A class of practical orchard codes on finite field GF(28) is proposed. The coding and decoding algorithms are presented. It is shown that this class of orchard codes is easy and comparatively fast to decode, and is very powerful for applications where channel SER/BER is high and burst errors occur
