Abstract
An empirical equation for the grid-current grid-voltage curve of the C-327 tube is developed. By obtaining the derivatives of this equation rather than determining them from the ig -eg , curve by graphical means the inaccuracy of the graphical methods is avoided. The equation holds accurately in the range of eG encountered in practice.
