Abstract :
A modified approach of injecting the regenerated energy from a three-phase AC squirrel cage induction motor drive system, during its braking operation, sinusoidally into the three-phase supply using a feedback inverter between the thyristor rectifier bridge and the three-phase inverter block is described. The validity of the modified scheme is verified by simulation and experiment
