Abstract :
Wavelets can substantially accelerate the computation of planar circuits in method of moments (MoM) schemes. This contribution deals with the prediction of the significant system matrix entries, a key to numerical efficiency. Further, optimized grids for improved performance are defined. The implementation of the method is addressed. Relevant practical examples such as a coupled antenna array serve to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approach and to illustrate some of its limits.
