Abstract
It is demonstrated that the division of frequencies, that is, the inverse process from frequency multiplication, is possible by using a triode arrangement. The requirements of such a circuit are analyzed theoretically and the conditions resulting from this study are tested experimentally. Curves are included showing the results of these experiments when the initial frequency bears a ratio to the final frequency equal to a small integer number.
