            Abstract : 
We propose a linear method for the generation of cross-covariance sequences in multichannel systems described by rational transfer functions. The method relies on the determination of a linear discrete-time filter whose impulse response is the desired cross-covariance sequence. We also prove existence and uniqueness of the solution.
