Abstract :
An approximate method for designing two-dimensional (2-D) windows with circular symmetry was developed. The 2-D window is obtained by rotating the frequency response of a 1-D window in Fourier space followed by the inverse Fourier transform. It has the identical width of the 1-D window, and features of the 1-D window are well preserved.
