Abstract
A single-block hexagonal LiNbO3 electrooptical switch was developed. It has the advantages of easy operation, an integrated polarizer, a modulator, and an analyzer, low loss, and a high extinction ratio. It can be used as an intracavity electrooptical
-switch for lasers, and as a switch for pulse selection in mode-locked lasers.
