World class people [manager profile]

This article provides a profile of Geoff Glover, the HR manager of Ford at Southampton. Realizing the importance of workers in realizing the company´s business objectives, Glover spearheaded the efforts to heavily invest in training their team in the core competencies that underpin ´lean´ through the Ford Production System and have put a lot of emphasis on the creation of a ´psychological´ contract with employees as a means of driving forward its business objectives.
