Abstract
This paper presents an implementation of an adaptive beamformer in a hands-free unit. The proposed adaptive beamformer suppresses stationary noise and interference sound. The adaptive beamformer and acoustic echo canceller were implemented in a compact hands-free unit with a low-cost DSP. Experimental results demonstrate the noise reduction performance of the hands-free unit.
