Describes a range of developments by Possum Controls Ltd. The company makes control systems for the assistance of the disabled, and the article focusses on systems in which command input is by voice and the purpose is to perform various household functions; operating the television, video and radio, opening the front door (an intercom is involved), opening curtains, controlling the telephone, etc. It also considers sensors to adjust automatically to brightness, temperature etc.<>
