Abstract :
A new and simplified adaptive algorithm is presented for lattice structured recursive filters implementing the two-multiplier form based on Itakura and Saito. A comparison is also presented between the results obtained from this new algorithm and the algorithm introduced recently by Parikh, Ahmed, and Stearns.
