Abstract :
This paper presents two previously unpublished maximum entropy beamforming algorithms applicable to equally spaced line arrays. Both algorithms, the first due to John P. Burg and the second due to the author, modify the Burg technique to permit simultaneous time averaging and spatial averaging for quasi-time-stationary array data.
