Abstract
Technology presents competitive opportunities and threats to a manufacturing business. The penalties for making the wrong strategic decisions in this arena are always damaging and can be fatal. This article describes a pragmatic way of creating a rewarding technological strategy for a business unit which is concerned with a single product range. It is easily extended into multiple product-range situations.<>
