Abstract :
Photoconductive interdigital planar devices were realized together with conventional straight structures on the same GaAs-SI wafer. The performances of the two kinds of devices are compared and it is shown that the interdigital geometry exhibits an enhanced sensitivity with a time response similar to the straight-structure one.
