Abstract :
An analytic formula for the frequency errors in processing real noiseless sinusoidal data with energy-weighted spectral estimation technique is derived and compared to Burg´s technique analytic expression. The significance of the analytic formula in processing sinusoidal signals in a high signal-to-noise ratio environment is also discussed.
