  • Abstract
We consider the recursive filter design problem for the case where the numerator and denominator polynomials have the same order and represent the problem in the context of two-channel prediction filtering. A new method of solution is then obtained by applying Strand´s two-channel extension of the Burg scheme. The new method is shown to yield a stable recursive filter while providing an improvement in performance over previous linear methods.
