R69-9 Deterministic Stack Automata and the Quotient Operator

Stack automata¹were introduced because they generalize the notion of a push-down store by allowing the interior of the push-down lost to be read but not changed. It turns out that this is an important family of automata for theoretical purposes. The original model included one-way and two-way, deterministic and nondeterministic versions.
