[The Way Ahead]

This issue of IEEE Potentials has the theme of entrepreneurship. There are opportunities within corporations and large businesses to develop and refine entrepreneurial skills that can make one successful in one´s career. The author offers several examples from his early career to illustrate that while the traditional view of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship immediately results in thoughts of starting your own business or being part of a small team in a startup, there is an alternate view that entrepreneurial skills, opportunities, and experiences also lie within corporations and large businesses.
