Abstract :
The impedance of a vertical antenna (monopole) normalized to 189 ¿, or its reciprocal, is equal to that of three different antennas in half space. This equality derived by the formulation of a common effective height, and therefrom a common Q, offers a technique for antenna evaluation in electromagnetic compatability (EMC).
