Abstract :
Frequency assignment procedures incorporating the use of a recently developed technique based on the theory of graphs are evaluated. The use of such procedures in the preparation of frequency assignment plans results in significant spectrum savings. The results obtained provide estimates of the potential extent of spectrum conservation that might be achieved through a national program revamping the present use of the spectrum.
